At EG LNG we strive to be a good neighbor in Equatorial Guinea and are committed to building local capacity and capabilities. We are making a
significant positive impact in the community by providing jobs and careers, creating opportunities for growing local businesses and
supporting community development projects. Operating as a socially responsible corporate citizen reinforces our business strategy and
contributes to our long-term success in Equatorial Guinea.National Content 


The key objective of EG LNG’s National Content program is to maximize the participation of local suppliers in the procurement of goods and
services, building the capacity of local small and medium enterprises. By working with Government entities, providing training programs and
forging partnerships between local and multinational vendors, EG LNG is greatly advancing National Content development in Equatorial Guinea.


EG LNG National Content areas of focus are:

Deliver on its National Content commitment.Develop the capacity of the local small and medium enterprises throughout the entire country.

Work with Government and other industry leaders on additional local content opportunities.Produce and distribute our quarterly newsletter “Energía
Local” that serves as EG LNG’s voice in the community.

Continue to focus on the promotion of safety awareness though our highly successful Safety Fair.EG LNG’s National Content program supplements our already robust commitment on social and community development initiatives.

In 2013, EG LNG completed one its most significant health projects yet.
Centro de Salud is a medical center in the country‘s capital Malabo. The
Ministry of Health of Equatorial Guinea is running the Centro de Salud,
providing health services to nearly 2,000 families.


Since 2007, EG LNG has constructed ten (10) new primaries schools in
communities across the country and has rehabilitated the major
infrastructure of two secondary schools in the country's capital Malabo,
and one in Ebibeyin, the country’s third largest city.
